The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading below 146.00 levels.
The USD/JPY in the Asian session continued its downward trend after hitting a six month low yesterday as both safe haven flows and expectations that the Bank of Japan will raise interest rates soon underpinned the yen. In Japan, Household Spending for February (-0.9% exp) will be released (00:30 GMT+1). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment data (137k and 4.1% respectively exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1), and Fed Chair Powell will speak (16:25 GMT+1).
