The US Dollar inched higher against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 37.90 levels.
The USD/TRY saw great volatility in the Asian session as fears about high inflation in the Turkish economy continue and the country continues to face a political crisis. In Turkey, Trade Balance for March (-7.77 bln last month) will be posted today (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment data (137k and 4.1% respectively exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1), and Fed Chair Powell will speak (16:25 GMT+1).
