In European trading, the euro advanced against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD rose in the European session ahead of the FED’s interest rate decision on September 17 and as the European Central Bank decided to keep its interest rate at the same level. In the Eurozone Trade Balance data for July came out with data being higher than expected (12.4B realised vs 11.7B expected). In the US, NY Empire State Manufacturing Index for September (3.00 expected) will be released (13:30 GMT +1).
