During European trading, the British Pound retreated against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD traded downward in the European session, reaching an almost 6 month low, as the markets are concerned about Britain’s overall fiscal outlook, which is creating negative pressure on the pound sterling. In the UK, Nationwide HPI for October was released with data coming out higher than expected (2.4% realised vs 2.3% expected). In the US Core PCE Price Index data for September (0.2% exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).*
