The USD/TRY pair jumped higher on Friday. At around 13:00, the dollar was being exchanged for 12.1542. Turkey's lira tumbled again on Thursday hitting a record low, gripped by worries over soaring inflation and other economic fallout, after a 15% crash a day earlier this week that was driven by President Tayyip Erdogan's defence of recent rate cuts.
