The British Pound USD currency pair climbed to 1.3825 during the Asian session. The Pound rallied on Thursday. The Bank of England kept interest rates unchanged at 0.10%, as expected. The UK’s Manufacturing PMI for September printed at 56.3 and the Services PMI for September printed at 56.3 Analysts were expecting 59.0 and 58.5 respectively. Initial Jobless Claims for the past week in the United States came in at 351,000, higher than their consensus forecast of 320,000. The U.S. Manufacturing and Services PMI’s for September also missed their forecasts printing at 60.5 and 54.4 respectively.
