In the Asian session, the German Benchmark Index traded above 22,400 levels.

German stocks were slightly higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software, Food & Beverages and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare sectors led shares higher, offsetting losses in the Construction, Financial Services and Media sectors..
