The USA500 closed slightly lower on Tuesday at 2885.88 after a strong early session with the rally fading towards the end of the session. There wasn't a lot of news to dictate market prices. President Donald Trump didn't complain much about the Federal Reserve, although the 10-Year Treasury yield closed down slightly at 2.14%. Trade tensions seemed mostly put away for the day so some investors decided to take some of their profits. There's a big G20 meeting coming at the end of June that traders are looking ahead to. Among the winners of the day were Apple, up 1.16%, Tesla, gaining 1.98% and Facebook, climbing 1.88%. The losers included AMD, down 2.47%, Walt Disney, falling 1.45% and Boeing, declining 1.26%.
