SILVER weekly special report based on 1.00 Lot Calculation:
US FEDERAL RESERVE:
- NEXT MEETING: WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10 AT 19:00 GMT. The meeting will be followed by a press conference at 19:30 GMT. The US Federal Reserve is expected to finish the year 2025 by cutting the rates to 3.75% on December 10. In this meeting, a dot plot projection for the near future will be published. If more interest rate cuts are anticipated for 2026, it could prove supportive for silver prices.
- BREAKING (OCTOBER 29): US FEDERAL RESERVE CUT INTEREST RATE TO 4.00% FROM 4.25%. The Fed cut rates again in October after the one earlier in September. In total, this year, rates have fallen from 4.50% to the current 4.00%.
- LAST TIME: Following the last two interest rate cuts (September and October 2025) by the FED, silver rose on average by 9.18% after ten days and 21.21% after one month.

GEOPOLITICS: RUSSIA – UKRAINE
- EVENT (DECEMBER 9): UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT ZELENSKY SAID THE UKRAINE-EUROPE PLAN PROPOSAL COULD BE SHARED WITH THE USA ON TUESDAY (DECEMBER 9). According to Reuters, Ukraine will share a revised peace plan with the U.S. on Tuesday (December 9) that is aimed at ending Russia's war, after talks in London (December 8) between President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and the leaders of France, Germany, and Britain.
NO AGREEMENT ON TERRITORY: President Zelenskiy told reporters (December 8) after the meeting that the revised plan comprised 20 points, but that there was still no agreement on the issue of giving up territory, which Moscow has pushed for.
BREAKING (DECEMBER 8): President Trump said he was "disappointed" with Zelenskiy, accusing him of not having read the latest proposals backed by the U.S.
EVENTS
- TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16 AT 13:30 GMT: NONFARM PAYROLLS (NFP) AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE (NOVEMBER). A weaker-than-expected NFP reading would point to a softer U.S. labor market, increasing expectations for additional Fed rate cuts. The U.S. unemployment rate recently went up to 4.4%. Another higher unemployment rate than expected would confirm further cooling in the U.S. economy and strengthen the case for more Fed easing, which tends to support silver prices.
- THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18 AT 13:30 GMT: U.S. INFLATION (CPI) (NOVEMBER). A softer CPI reading would point to easing inflation and increase expectations for more Fed rate cuts, which typically support silver prices.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:
- SUPPORT: $57 - $56. Since the beginning of December, silver prices have consistently held above the $57 level, creating a short-term support zone between $57 and $56.
- SILVER PRICE HIT A NEW ALL-TIME HIGH ON DECEMBER 5, 2025 ($59.307). Silver price has broken out to a new all-time high of $59.307, confirming the strong uptrend since the beginning of 2025. However, the price could also decline.
- UPTREND STILL IN PLACE: The price remains well above both the 50-day and 100-day moving averages, showing that momentum still favors the upside. Silver has now gained around 100% so far in 2025.
- ANALYSTS’ OPINION: BANK OF AMERICA forecasts $65, UBS forecasts $60.
