The USD/CAD pair decreased, moving to 1.2111. The pair finished yesterday firmly higher,as the dollar firmed, fell and strengthened again. In Canada yesterday Core CPI and CPI figures were slightly above expectations. Later in the session Federal Reserve meeting minutes showed participants agreed the U.S. economy remained far from the central bank’s goals, with some eyeing a future discussion of tapering its bond buying program.
