In April 2025, Apple introduced Apple Intelligence, which features Genmoji, Image Playground, and ChatGPT integration across its platforms. By focusing on on-device processing and seamless ecosystem integration, Apple strengthens its position as a leader in privacy-first AI innovation.
STOCK INDEX PARTICIPATION: Apple stock is included in the NASDAQ 100 (USA 100) index, S&P 500 (USA 500), and DOW 30 (USA30) index.

APPLE: EVENTS

EVENT (TUESDAY, SEPETMBER 9 AT 18:00 GMT+1): APPLE IS RELEASING IPHONE 17. Apple announced it will hold its iPhone 17 launch event on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The company is expected to unveil one regular iPhone 17 and two Pro models, with rumors suggesting a new ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air at just 5.5 mm thick, featuring a 6.6-inch screen. The standard iPhone 17 may also get a larger 6.3-inch display with a faster 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to phones, Apple is likely to introduce new Apple Watch models, including the Series 11, SE 3, and a standout Ultra 3 with a bigger screen and faster charging.

APPLE: IPHONE 17 SALES EXPECTATIONS AND FORECASTS BY ANALYSTS

GOLDMAN SAHS: Goldman Sachs sees iPhone revenue could grow 5% in 2025 and 7% in 2026, driven by AI features, premium models, and strong upgrade demand.
WEDBUSH: Wedbush projects a potential upgrade 'supercycle' fueled by AI: around 300 million iPhones globally are running 4+ years old, which could set the stage for ~240 million iPhone sales in fiscal 2025—well above consensus estimates.

APPLE: IPHONE MARKET SHARE

GLOBAL: The iPhone holds ~15–16% of global smartphone unit sales. Samsung leads in unit volume with a ~21.8% share.
MARKET SHARE FOR SMARTPHONES THAT COST OVER $1000: The iPhone dominates the premium segment—capturing nearly 80% of all smartphones sold above $1,000. Thanks to its higher prices and strong margins, Apple also takes roughly 80% of total profits in the global smartphone market after costs.

APPLE: IPHONE REVENUE SHARE

MOST RECENT: In Q2 2025, iPhone represented 47.4% of Apple’s revenue. In fiscal year 2024, the iPhone accounted for about 51% of Apple’s total revenue.

APPLE: PRICE ACTION

THE STOCK PRICE HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH OF $259.89 IN DECEMBER, 2024. The stock price currently trades around $240, and if a full recovery to its recent all-time highs takes place, then it could offer an upside of around 8%. However, the stock price could decline as well.
ANALYSTS' OPINION: Wedbush forecasts $270, JP Morgan forecasts $255, and Goldman Sachs forecasts $266.
