THE COMPANY: The Boeing Co. is an aerospace company that manufactures commercial jetliners and defense, space, and security systems.
MARKET SHARE (DEFENSE INDUSTRY): Boeing is the second-largest company in the sector with around 9% of the market share. The biggest aerospace and defense company is Raytheon Technologies (9.06%), followed by Boeing (9.00%) and Lockheed Martin (8.91%), respectively.

GEOPOLITICS: TRADE PROGRESS

BREAKING (MONDAY, MAY 12): U.S. AND CHINA AGREED TO REDUCE TARIFFS ON EACH OTHER FOR THE NEXT 90 DAYS. The United States cuts tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30% for 90 days. China lowers tariffs from 125% to 10% for all US products for the next 90 days.
CHINA LIFTED BOEING DELIVERY BAN; AT LEAST 50 BOEING JETS TO BE SHIPPED TO CHINA (MAY 13): China has removed a ban on airlines taking delivery of Boeing planes after the United States and China agreed on a temporary cut in steep tariffs. Boeing executives said that the company had planned for 50 jets to go to Chinese carriers this year, with 41 in production or pre-built.

BOEING: HOW DOES THE STOCK PERFORM UNDER DONALD TRUMP AS PRESIDENT OF THE USA?

THE STOCK HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH OF $445.61 ON MARCH 1, 2019. Boeing was last trading around $205, and if a full recovery follows recent all-time highs, the stock price could see an upside of around 117%. However, the price could decline further.
ANALYSTS' OPINION: Deutsche Bank forecasts $217, DBS Bank forecasts $240, and Citigroup forecasts $220. Jefferies forecasts $230.
