Mizuho Securities estimates that Nvidia controls between 70% and 95% of the market for AI chips, while Nasdaq.com reported that Nvidia holds 80% market share. Other rivals such as AMD, Intel, Broadcom, Alphabet, or Amazon seem to be still far behind Nvidia.

- EVENT (WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, AFTERMARKET): Q2 EARNINGS REPORT. Nvidia is expected to print $45.82 billion in revenue (a new record high), up 52.5% from the same period last year ($30.04 billion). Nvidia is expected to print $24.58 billion in net income (a new record high), up around 48% from the same period last year ($16.582 billion). FORWARD GUIDANCE (Q3): The company is expected to project revenue figures of $52.48 billion, up 49.6% from a year ago and net income of $29.124 billion, up 50.3% from a year ago.
- STATISTIC (LAST 8 QUARTERS): HISTORICAL PERFORMANCE SHOWS THAT NVIDIA TENDS TO BEAT ANALYSTS’ EXPECTATIONS. Nvidia has beaten revenue estimates 8 times over the past 8 quarters and has managed to beat Earnings Per Share (EPS) estimates 8 times over the past 8 quarters.
- LAST TIME (Q1 EARNINGS RELEASED ON MAY 28, 2025): Nvidia’s Q1 results exceeded expectations, with total revenue reaching $44.06 billion (vs. $43.31 billion expected); Earnings Per Share came in at $0.96 (vs. $0.93 expected).

- BREAKING (JULY 15): NVIDIA ALLOWED AGAIN TO SELL H20 A.I. CHIPS TO CHINA. Nvidia said that the U.S. government has assured the company that licenses will be granted, and Nvidia hopes to start deliveries of H20 A.I. chips to China again, after they were first banned back in April 2025. Nvidia said it will resume sales of its H20 artificial intelligence chip to China and has introduced a new model tailored to meet regulatory requirements in the Chinese market.
- BREAKING (JULY 9): CHINA EXPECTED TO PURCHASE OVER 115,000 A.I. CHIPS FROM NVIDIA. According to Bloomberg, Chinese firms look to install over 115,000 Nvidia AI chips in about three dozen data centers across the country's western deserts.
- NVIDIA DEALS IN THE MIDDLE EAST (MAY 14 – MAY 16): CEO JENSEN HUANG JOINED US PRESIDENT TRUMP IN SAUDI ARABIA AND U.A.E. SAUDI ARABIA: According to Reuters, Nvidia said it will sell hundreds of thousands of AI chips in Saudi Arabia, with a first tranche of 18,000 of its newest "Blackwell" chips going to Sudis’s Humain. U.A.E.: The United Arab Emirates and the United States have signed an agreement for the Gulf country to build the largest artificial intelligence campus outside the United States. The UAE could be allowed to import between 500,000 and 1,000,000 of Nvidia's most advanced AI chips per year starting in 2025.

- ANALYST OPINION: Citigroup forecasts $190; Jefferies forecasts $200; Barclays forecasts $200; Truist Securities forecasts $210.
- BREAKING (JULY 29): NVIDIA HIT A FRESH ALL-TIME HIGH ($178.98). NVIDIA's stock price has risen around 33% since the start of the year, and it has risen around 103% since early April 2025, when US President Donald Trump suspended their reciprocal tariffs for the next 90 days.
