EVENT (THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, AFTERMARKET): Q3 2025 EARNINGS REPORT. Amazon is expected to print $177.79 billion in revenue for Q3 of 2025. This represents a 12% increase from the same period last year ($158.9 billion). In addition, the company is expected to post Net Income of $21.77 billion, which could be an increase of around 41% from the same period last year ($15.42 billion).
QUARTERLY REVENUE AND NET INCOME (LAST 8 QUARTERS). Amazon has beaten Revenue expectations 7 out of 8 and Net Income 8 out of the last 8 times.
LAST TIME (Q2 RESULTS): Amazon reported higher-than-expected revenue ($167.7 billion, an increase of 13%) and better-than-expected Net income (18.47 billion, an increase of 41%). (Source: Bloomberg)

ANALYSTS' OPINION: HSBC forecasts $260, Jefferies forecasts $265. JP Morgan forecasts $265.

AMAZON: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

UPTREND SUPPORT LINE: Since April 2025, Amazon’s stock price has been trading in a steady upward trend, supported by the rising black trend line visible on the chart. Each pullback found support near this line, confirming it as a strong mid-term trend base. However, the price could go in the opposite direction.
PRICE IS TRADING ABOVE ALL MAJOR MOVING AVERAGES: The 20-day moving average (red) has recently turned upward after crossing below the 100-day moving average (green) earlier in the quarter, an early signal that momentum is recovering. The price is now trading above both averages and as long as the price stays above the trend line and both moving averages, the medium-term direction remains positive. However, the price could go in the opposite direction.
