EVENT: META CONNECT (CONFIRMED SEPTEMBER 27th 2023): Meta will be hosting a two-day virtual event, where the company will have the CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, speaking at the event. The event will be focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), while also unveiling their new Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headset. The event could be a catalyst for optimistic sentiment given the expected potential success of the product.
META SET TO LEVERAGE ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE TO IMRPOVE ADVERTISING PRODUCTS ON ITS INSTAGRAM REELS, COULD GROW SEGMENT REVENUE 66%: Meta could see a substantial improvement in its revenue stream, as the company looks to AI integration in advertising to grow the company’s revenue. Meta’s Instagram reels could integrate advertising into user videos, which could produce $5B worth of revenue from the segment, up from $3B in 2022.
MORGAN STANLEY STATES META COULD DELIVER $20 EARNINGS PER SHARE IN 2024, WHICH WOULD BE A 100% INCREASE ON THE 2022 EPS: Morgan Stanley has issued a statement outlining that they believe Meta can generate $20 of earnings per share in 2024 as a result of successful monetization of its products

STOCK PRICE ACTION: THE STOCK HAS HAD AN ALL TIME HIGH OF $384.24. Meta was last trading around $305, and if full recovery follows recent all- time highs, the stock could see an upside of around ~26.00%. However, the stock price may continue to decline.
ANALYST OPINION: JP Morgan is targeting $425, Barclays forecasts $410, Evercore forecasts $435 while Jefferies targets $400. The Bloomberg consensus price target is $373.75 a share.
