ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY CONTINUES TO GROW: According to IDC, global investments in Artificial Intelligence are projected to generate a cumulative economic impact of $22.3 trillion by 2030. Precedence Research estimates that the Generative AI market is valued at $37.89 billion in 2025 and is expected to reach approximately $1 trillion by 2034, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 44.20% between 2025 and 2034.
MICROSOFT IS A LEADER FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PLATFORMS: According to recent data, Microsoft has introduced “Bing AI” and Copilot for Microsoft 365. Previously, Microsoft partnered with OpenAI, the developer of the most demanded AI application, ChatGPT. As of April 2025, ChatGPT has surpassed 800 million weekly active users, doubling the 400 million figure from February 2025 and far exceeding the 300 million reported in January.

MICROSOFT: EVENTS

EVENT (APRIL 30, AFTERMARKET): Q1 2025 EARNINGS REPORT. Microsoft is expected to print $68.527 billion in revenue for Q1 of 2025. This is an increase of 10.78% from the same period last year ($61.858 billion). In addition, the company is expected to post Earnings Per Share (EPS) of $3.23, which could be an increase of around 9.86% from the same period last year ($2.94).
QUARTERLY REVENUE AND EARNINGS (LAST 8 QUARTERS). Microsoft has beaten revenue and EPS expectations 8 out of the last 8 times.

MICROSOFT: WILL THE COMPANY REMAIN IMMUNE TO TRUMP’S TARIFFS AND TRADE WAR?

MICROSOFT’S SERVICES REMAIN UNAFFECTED BY NEW TARIFFS: The recent tariffs announced by President Trump are focused exclusively on imported goods, meaning Microsoft’s service offerings will not be directly impacted. As a result, the company is not expected to face pricing pressure or operational disruptions in the U.S. market, allowing it to maintain competitive pricing and potentially continue growing its user base.

MICROSOFT: PRICE ACTION

THE STOCK HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH OF $468.35 (July 8, 2024). The stock currently trades around $372, near its five-month low, and if a full recovery to its recent all-time highs takes place, then it could offer an upside of around 26%. However, the stock price could decline as well.
ANALYSTS OPINIONS: Arete Research forecasts $650. HSBC forecasts $598. Goldman Sachs forecasts $500.
