GOLD HITS 4-WEEK HIGH ON WEAKER DOLLAR

Gold jumps to new 4-week high as US Dollar extends losses against major exchange rates. At 09:07 GMT, gold was trading at $1,173 per ounce (up 0.49%).

Also trading lower are the dollar against the yen (USD/JPY), which falls 0.45% to 116.62, Pound Sterling aganst dollar (GBP/USD), wish is down 0.29%, trading at 1.229. EUR/USD rises 0.11% to 1.050.
