The Dow Jones Industrial Average has been struggling the past week to push through the 20,000 level. Will today be the day it gets there for the first time in years? As of 09:10 GMT, the index is trading at 19826.

Oil continues to rise, following market forecasts that anticipated tighter production plans by leading OPEC producers in 2017. On Friday, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude (CL) futures rose $1 to settle at $51.90, while Brent crude (EB) rose $1.19 to settle at $55.21 a barrel. Will the uptrend in crude continue in today’s trading session?

Danone (BN.PA), the world’s largest yogurt maker, said today that its sales growth for the year will be slightly below its target. The company’s fresh dairy business continues to shrink, for a third year in a row, and the demand in Spain for the Activia yogurt brand remains weaker than expected.
