Capita PLC is an international business process outsourcing company based in London. It provides an integrated range of services mostly in the UK providing customer, human resource, software, systems and property services. It is the largest company of its kind in the UK. Half of its turnover is from the private sector and half from the public sector. It has a total of 70,000 employees.

In 2015 Capita acquired BCS Design. BCS Design provides a wide range of civil, structural, geotechnical engineering and surveying services in markets including rail, highways, industrial and utilities.
Capita generates around 95% of its revenues from the UK. It established a new service delivery facility in South Africa in 2012.
In April 2018 the company was boosted by a contract extension of five years with the BBC, for which it provides audience services.
