Euro versus Swedish krona (EUR/SEK) is a cross-pair of the euro – the 2nd most commonly traded currency in the foreign exchange market. EUR/SEK's exchange rate indicates how much of the Swedish currency is needed to buy one euro. An important fact worth noting is that Sweden - a rich Scandinavian country in Northern Europe - has continually chosen to stay outside of the eurozone's currency Treaty of Accession, which would require it to peg its krone to the euro. This, despite the fact that most Swedes have expressed interest in joining the EU.
