Description:

TESCO PLC is a British multinational grocery and merchandise retailer. It is the third largest retailer in the world by profit and has stores in 12 countries including Asia and Europe.

Although it began as a grocery retailer based in the UK, the company has diversified into books, petrol, software, financial services and telecoms. Tesco is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
